The Chinese character for LOVE: In the center, “HEART”, above is “BREATH”, below is “GRACEFUL MOVEMENT”. Love is the purest form of ENERGY. Love brings forth the purest Life. Anything that you can do to promote and nourish the fullest expression of this Love within others and themselves will move them further on the continuum to the fullest expression of Life. The natural, organic expression being Vitality, Wellness, Resiliency, Success, Happiness and Optimal Body Function :)

I believe that your choice to live a full Life starts with Love; Love for yourself. Motion is Life. Therefore, to Love yourself starts with creating Motion, Movement, Mobility within Yourself. Otherwise, stagnation and decay sets in which has consequences in of itself for the body and the mind: aches, pains, dis-ease, premature aging, cardiovascular problems, and even mental/mood disorders.

Motion, Mobility and Movement for the body is simple and complex. It can be as simple as walking or as complex as improper biochemical movement (messaging) between the cells of an organ. For me, its starts by moving the body: stretching, yoga, walking. The body doesn’t care what you call it – JUST MOVE! Motion also begins at the core. The core being the spinal column. Any “kink” (or stuck spinal segment) will create a malfunction somewhere body. Chiropractors specialize in this area.

In Chinese Medicine, the lack of energetic movement results in the accumulation of mass. Hence, in the spine it can be seen as “kinks or cricks”. In the muscles energetic congestion can manifest as “knots (trigger points)”, and in extreme cases masses such as tumors or cancer can show up anywhere in the body. Even thoughts are expressions of energy that can become “stuck”, as in stress and anxiety. Acupuncture has been a great tool in “moving thoughts” in order to calm the mind.

So, Love yourself. You’ll be happier and healthier for it :)
